    Description of the violin according to maker
    “This fiddle has an Englemann Spruce top, Western Big Leaf Curley Maple back, sides, and neck and Indian Ebony trim. This fiddle has a sweet, dark voicing similar with a nice woody sounding high E, a tone quality that is hard to find in most instruments. There are no wolf tones or muddiness with double stops, notes blend well from string to string. I think this is one of the better fiddles I have made, if one likes a dark woody tone.”
    It had a crack that was repaired by the maker, Bob Kogut. Also, I am selling this with a Cedar Creek violin case that has been obviously used, but is a great case and has been cleaned well.
