Presented for your consideration is this interesting antique microscope. This microscope was made by Bausch & Lomb Optical in Rochester, New York and features two magnification options, 10x and 43x The body of the microscope is made of heavy metal with brass magnification lenses, adjusting knobs and viewing lens housing. Each magnification lens is marked with the power as well as "Bausch & Lomb Rochester, NY" which is also marked on the front of the microscope. Top of the microscope is marked with "Pat. Jan. 5, 1915." All moving parts move with ease. Guaranteed to be old. This neat microscope would make a great addition to any scientific memorabilia collection!
Viewing lens, illumination mirror and viewing lens are missing. Some paint wear is on the magnification wheel and some light oxidation is on the underside of the base. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in GOOD condition. Being sold as found. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 6 1/2" deep, 4" wide and 12 1/2" when fully raised.
