    ANTIQUE CHINESE ENAMEL YIXING THREE-LEGGED TOAD CHAN CHU TEAPOT 19TH CENTURY
    Up for auction is a fine antique Chinese enamel Yixing teapot from the 19th century.  The three-legged toad is also known as Chan Chu. The spout and the handle are shaped like bamboo stalks.
    The stand is included in the sale.  The stand is a much younger age and is not antique.
    Condition Report
    The Yixing teapot is a pre-owned item with age-related wear.  There are chips on the cover.  The toad has a tiny chip on one of its eyes.  All 3 legs of the toad are cracked.  The base of the teapot has a star-hairline crack, see photos #8 and #9. Please see the photos for the described conditions.
