Description

New capacitor type fuel level sender.
It is good
for hazard environment, such as boat, electrical vehicle, military applications.
The big difference of this capacitive type fuel sender with normal fuel sender is there is no moving part on the sender,
there is
no floating piece, it just use inner center and outer tube to sense the fuel level.

Cut and Calibration:
Measure the internal gas tank height;
Cut the tube. Make sure leave about 0.5”-1” space between the bottom of tank to the end of tube, so you have a safety remaining gas when the fuel show empty. Be sure clean the flashes in the cutting edge. Recommend using high speedo cutting tool to cut.
Connect power and wire to gauge.
Before adding gas, adjust “Empty” pot so the output voltage around 0.45V.
Adding gas to full, adjust “Full” pot so the output voltage to 5.0V (or 4.5V).
It may need to check the empty tank again, adjust “Empty” pot to 0.5V, then fill the tank check the full tank again, adjust if necessary.
