ID'd WWII Army Air Corps POW/Silver Star Pilot Grouping~Wings Rank Patches Medal

For your consideration is this ID'd grouping to a WWII POW and Silver Star Recipient. Much can be found about this aviator online, and the story of his actions is pretty incredible. If you can't find it, message me and I'll send a copy (I don't have the original) of his Silver Star citation. Everything I have from this aviator is included in this group. The wings are unmarked Sterling, and the senior wings are post war, as are the clutch back captain rank. According to online info, this aviator served through WWII in to the 1950's. None of the patches glow under a black light. The pin-back Captain and Lieutenant insignia are marked Sterling. This is a fantastic, all original group, and it's being sold with no reserve.
