    These are ORIGINAL sterling silver "jump" wings or "parachute qualification badge" awarded to U.S. Army paratroopers upon the completion of their fifth parachute "jump" in training in WWII. I purchased these wings at the "Dug-Out" militaria store in Newport Beach, CA on October 19, 1989.  These wings were likely the "issue wings", rather than private-purchase wings, since they do not have the hallmark of the usual manufacturers. However, the wings are marked below the pinback with "sterling". The wings are in VERY GOOD condition, with the usual tarnish and a slight bend in the pinback. Here's an opportunity for the airborne collector or re-enactor to obtain a nice set of wings for the collection or impression. The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and a five-day (
