REDUCED . Roaring 20s Flapper Miser Purse, Glinty, Shiny French Steel Diamond Cut Beads, Tassel, ONLY HOLDS COINS & DANCE CARDS not that many. Nearly 100 Years Old.
These antique beads are multihued and slightly irregular shape but very glinty & shiny. Looks like a million little lights. Purse has more than 1000 Beads. The dark blue narrow purse is hand crocheted with awesome beadwork.
I purchased it without it's tassel & top band. I was able to find genuine antique French Steel Diamond cut beads for the tassel & a premade top band of vintage beads. Considering its age it is in great condition. I reinforced the top added band & tassel. Miser Purse is 6" long not counting 2 1/4" Tassel , and opens to ONLY TO 2" WIDE. You will do well to get 2 fingers in there! Coins will fall to bottom. So, purse is impractical, but great too look at! Great CHATELAINE Collector Item.
