    Description

    Listed here is a Vintage 1967 Montreal World Exposition 10” Plastic Doll  representing Belarus USSR costume in very good condition. She has plastic arms, legs, and head with a cloth body.  She is wearing a one piece acetate blouse/slip with red flowers printed on sleeves. a red skirt trimmed at hem with band of blue, a blue velvet long vest with two pearl buttons, a multi-strand beaded necklace, white cotton pantie, and red painted red shoes.
    Dolls like her are pictured in The Other Russian Dolls (page 81) by Linda Holderbaum.  These dolls were sold by the USSR gift shop to represent the 15 Soviet Republics.
