Description

Here we have fine World War II U.S. Paratrooper Jump Wing that is in excellent condition. It was manufactured by the N.S. Meyer firm of New York and is with their logo on the reverse of the left wing. It is constructed of sterling silver and marked, “STERLING” to the right of the Meyer logo. The pin and roller locking catch are both present and functional. Attached to the center of the parachute shroud lines is a small, well-detail silver skull. This was a noted practice of the 101st Airborne Pathfinders during the Second World War. This wing remains in excellent, original, and undamaged condition.
